We are SHORT the FTSE this morning from 7162.
Negativity over what we can expect from Donald Trump’s first 100 days in office (and longer) are impacting on markets and we feel this is a good time to SHORT the FTSE.
We are in from 7162 with an open STOP and T.P.
Should price regain the 7259 handle which is the 200 sma we will exit if the price action looks BULLISH.
Initial target is 6950 area.
Connor Campbell, of SpreadEx, said: “The FTSE still has a way to go before it dips under the key 7000 level; however, the index’s rampant optimism does seem to have come to an end in conjunction with the pound beginning to peek its head above the parapet after a month or so of suffering.”
